Principal’s Corner

The Mini-bus trial has been a great success and this will be continued. In school Teaching and Learning is in full flow. Above we can see the Lower Juniors who are studying Stone Age Civilisations, on the top of Credenhill Hill Fort. The infants have started studying old toys while the Juniors have moved from Tudor explorers to North America. The Harvest Festival was very well attended and a big thank you to all for the produce that went to those less fortunate than ourselves. On Friday 11th we remembered the brave soldiers that gave their lives in wars. A big thank you to Edward Jones who spoke to the children about the Dickin Medal and animals at war. We are now looking forward to the Christmas build up. In craft club pupils are making festive presents and we have started preparations for the Nativity and Carols on the Green.

Sport
The school has always put a high priority on learning to swim, so it’s Congratulations to Kitty and Joe who achieved their red badges and Daniella who has achieved her green badge. This half term it’s the turn of the Juniors. Next term on a Monday afternoon all pupils will have a chance to study Dance at the ASPIRE Dance Studio in Weobley.

Friends
Congratulations to Beth and Steph who are now joint chairs of FOSM and many thanks to Mary who has worked hard and organised many successful events over the past two years. The first major event this year is a Christmas Coffee Morning and more, that will be held on Saturday 10th December.
