Principal’s Corner
Teaching and learning is in full flow. Above we can see that the reception pupils have settled in well and are enjoying their lunch together. The Lower Juniors have been studying the countries of the world while the Upper Juniors have been researching Tudor explorers. The infants have been investigating Themselves but will soon be studying old toys.
For the past three weeks Dr Rhodes, a former trainee of mine, who now works promoting science for the
Ogden Trust, has been exciting pupils with light and electricity. Hopefully sparking pupils interest into the fields of Science and Technology.
We hope to see you all at the Harvest Festival on Fri-day, when we give thanks for the Harvest while also thinking of those that are less fortunate than ourselves.

83% of Year 6 pupils achieved the top grades 32% higher than the Herefordshire average. 100% of Year 2 achieved the top grades.

Netball, football and rugby are the orders of the day for the Juniors while the Infants are learning ball and co-ordination skills. The infants are of course also swimming on a Friday afternoon. Herefordshire School Games are also organising a number of tournaments this term which we hope to participate in. Watch this space

Mrs Kyles will be looking at old toys this term. If you have any old teddies, spinning tops etc we would love to know.
