St Mary's Primary School Dilwyn : with css & html

NEWSLETTER Monday 5th November 2012

On the Friday before half term, 6 children from Years 5 & 6 spent the day on their bikes with the Bikeability team from Herefordshire council and were duly awarded badges and certificates in last week’s Thursday assembly.

Mr. Brian Sexton, a primary school teacher from the George Spicer School, Enfield, visited School last Thursday with a former colleague, our very own Lynn Hanley. Here we see Brian taking the juniors through a public speaking workshop after they had watched some animated films that he and Lynn had made with some of the Enfield children.

A week today, we shall be holding the first of two OPEN MORNINGS, the second being on 3rd December. Do come along and see the School in action; you will be most welcome, as will any other members of the family or friends, particularly if they have young children who might be future pupils..!

Reminders for this week: Friday, 9th November – School Remembrance Service, starting on the Green at 10.30am. All welcome. Saturday, 10th November – Save the Children Coffee Morning in the Cedar Hall at 10.00am.

Please see the homepage for dates for the diary.
