A small school with a BIG curriculum,’

Principal’s Corner
The new term saw Charlie, Maria, Amelia, Drew, Annabel, Evie, Jude, Molly, Fergus, Sam and Ashleigh moving on to their respective High Schools. We wish them all well on their educational journey and thank them for their contribution to our school. We have also gained 8 new pupils in Reception who seem to have settled in well and are certainly enjoying their lunchtime dinner parties.
Congratulations go to Ashleigh who won the Shield for Outstanding Progress and Achievement and to Eden who won the House Point Cup.
The school is not just about studying but is about stimulating interest and fun. Music, Art and Science all feature strongly and on Friday afternoons Forest School, Swimming, Cookery and DT are rotated.
In July the Upper Juniors experienced and enjoyed adventure at Tregoyd PGL Centre and a concert at Birmingham Symphony Hall. The Infants went to Goodrich Castle and the Butterfly Farm and the whole school went to St Fagans Welsh Heritage Museum. Its an Education for life at St Mary’s.
Finally please note the dates below as they are slightly different to some High Schools. The Easter Term will end on Wednesday 28th March a day earlier.

On Fridays the Infants have returned to the pool. Congratulations go to Luke and Sophie who have both been awarded their yellow badges from last term. After half term the Juniors will start swimming and Years 5&6 will have a 6 week dance/gymnastic block at the Aspire Dance Studio.
